Test the problem before you build the business.
Use this worksheet to validate Local Business AI Setup with a small real-world test. The goal is evidence—not a polished brand, a giant software stack or an income projection.
What are you trying to prove?
A local business owner who feels overwhelmed by AI will pay for a small, practical setup tied to two or three real workflows.
Conduct a short AI-use assessment and implement one low-risk workflow plus a prompt/process guide.
Keep the first test small enough to complete quickly, but real enough that a prospect has to react to an actual offer or deliverable.
Define the smallest credible test.

Local service businesses, shops, contractors, offices and owner-operated firms.
Many owners know AI could help but do not know which tools are relevant or how to integrate them into daily work.
Conduct a short AI-use assessment and implement one low-risk workflow plus a prompt/process guide.
A simple before/after workflow map and demonstration using the owner’s real business material.
Ask before you pitch.
These questions are designed to uncover the current process and pain. Do not lead the prospect toward the answer you want.
Where are you losing the most time each week?
What customer questions repeat constantly?
What content or follow-up gets delayed?
Which tasks should never be automated without review?
What people do matters more than what they say.
Do not count “that sounds interesting” as validation. Listen for evidence of an existing problem, urgency to solve it, willingness to test a solution and a clear next action.
Take the questions into the field.
Offer a short AI workflow assessment to local businesses in one niche where you can understand the daily work.
Decide before emotion takes over.
A “yes” from friends is not validation. Look for behavior, urgency, willingness to pilot and evidence that the delivery can work.
Continue when customer pain is real, the pilot is deliverable and at least one qualified prospect is willing to take a meaningful next step.
Change the customer, problem, offer or workflow when interest exists but the proposed solution is too broad, hard to explain or difficult to deliver.
Walk away when you cannot find urgency, willingness to test or a credible path to delivering the result.
Keep this validation framework.
