Test the problem before you build the business.
Use this worksheet to validate AI Knowledge & Support Setup with a small real-world test. The goal is evidence—not a polished brand, a giant software stack or an income projection.
What are you trying to prove?
A team with repeated internal or customer questions will pay to organize trusted knowledge and make retrieval faster.
Create a small approved knowledge base around one topic and connect it to a controlled support or internal lookup workflow.
Keep the first test small enough to complete quickly, but real enough that a prospect has to react to an actual offer or deliverable.
Define the smallest credible test.

Small teams, membership organizations, service companies and businesses with recurring customer questions.
Policies, product information and customer answers are often scattered across documents, inboxes and individual employees.
Create a small approved knowledge base around one topic and connect it to a controlled support or internal lookup workflow.
Compare answer consistency, retrieval time and escalation needs before and after the pilot.
Ask before you pitch.
These questions are designed to uncover the current process and pain. Do not lead the prospect toward the answer you want.
Which questions repeat most often?
Where are the approved answers stored?
Which answers require human judgment?
How do you know when information is outdated?
What people do matters more than what they say.
Do not count “that sounds interesting” as validation. Listen for evidence of an existing problem, urgency to solve it, willingness to test a solution and a clear next action.
Take the questions into the field.
Target teams with repeated FAQs, onboarding questions, policies or support issues and lead with knowledge organization—not chatbot hype.
Decide before emotion takes over.
A “yes” from friends is not validation. Look for behavior, urgency, willingness to pilot and evidence that the delivery can work.
Continue when customer pain is real, the pilot is deliverable and at least one qualified prospect is willing to take a meaningful next step.
Change the customer, problem, offer or workflow when interest exists but the proposed solution is too broad, hard to explain or difficult to deliver.
Walk away when you cannot find urgency, willingness to test or a credible path to delivering the result.
Keep this validation framework.
