AOC OPPORTUNITY VALIDATION TOOLKIT

Test the problem before you build the business.

Use this worksheet to validate AI Content Studio with a small real-world test. The goal is evidence—not a polished brand, a giant software stack or an income projection.

01 · HYPOTHESIS

What are you trying to prove?

A business with useful expertise but inconsistent publishing will pay for a small, repeatable content production system.

LOW-RISK TEST

Turn one interview, webinar, article or source document into a one-week content package.

Keep the first test small enough to complete quickly, but real enough that a prospect has to react to an actual offer or deliverable.

01 State the assumption What has to be true for this opportunity to work?
→
02 Run one small test Use a real prospect, real workflow and real deliverable.
→
03 Capture evidence Look for behavior, urgency, willingness and delivery proof.
VALIDATION WORKSHEET

Define the smallest credible test.

Type directly into the worksheet. AOC does not store these answers on the server.

Local businesses, consultants, professional services, creators and small B2B teams.

Many small businesses know what they want to say but do not have the time or production system to publish consistently.

Turn one interview, webinar, article or source document into a one-week content package.

A before/after sample showing the source material, edited deliverables and time saved.

CUSTOMER CONVERSATIONS

Ask before you pitch.

These questions are designed to uncover the current process and pain. Do not lead the prospect toward the answer you want.

01

What content is hardest for you to publish consistently?

02

What source material do you already have?

03

Who approves content before it goes live?

04

What would make a monthly content system worth paying for?

LISTEN FOR SIGNAL — NOT COMPLIMENTS

What people do matters more than what they say.

Do not count “that sounds interesting” as validation. Listen for evidence of an existing problem, urgency to solve it, willingness to test a solution and a clear next action.

WEAK SIGNAL“That’s a cool idea.”Interest without action.
BETTER SIGNAL“We deal with that now.”Acknowledged current pain.
STRONG SIGNAL“Can we test this?”Behavior and willingness.
06 · FIND REAL SIGNAL

Take the questions into the field.

Approach 10–15 businesses already publishing inconsistently and offer a tightly scoped content sprint.

Do not pitch all 10–15 people.Use the first conversations to learn. Refine the problem and pilot as patterns emerge.
Suggested first test 10–15 qualified prospects or customer conversations
01Record the languageUse the words prospects use to describe the problem.
02Look for repetitionOne opinion is anecdotal. Patterns are more useful.
03Ask for a next stepA pilot, introduction, follow-up or other concrete action creates stronger evidence.
07 · PASS / FAIL CRITERIA

Decide before emotion takes over.

A “yes” from friends is not validation. Look for behavior, urgency, willingness to pilot and evidence that the delivery can work.

PROCEED

Continue when customer pain is real, the pilot is deliverable and at least one qualified prospect is willing to take a meaningful next step.

REFINE

Change the customer, problem, offer or workflow when interest exists but the proposed solution is too broad, hard to explain or difficult to deliver.

STOP

Walk away when you cannot find urgency, willingness to test or a credible path to delivering the result.

KEEP THE WORK MOVING

Keep this validation framework.
